Book Haul

So I was supposed to do a book review today, but I was lazy this week and didn’t end up actually finishing a book.  I did, however, end up buying some books this week from the Goodwill.

Yay! Look at that, actual books. 😀  I don’t know about you, but sometimes I have a hard time reading E-Books. It’s just not the same thing as holding an actual book in my hands.

So here we have Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Curz.

Women Without Men by Shahrnush Parsipur.

The Help by Kathryn Stockett

And this book is actually an ARC copy given to me by Blogger for Books. And it’s Secrets of Blood and Bone by Rebecca Alexander.
Have you gone book shopping recently? If so what did you get? Have you read any of the books I bought?

  1. You’re right, ebooks are not the same. I love physical books! ^_^ Last time I went book shopping was the beginning of the month at a library sale… Nope, haven’t read any of those… EEP the last one looks pretty! 😀 I looove seeing peoples’ books they got! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

    1. I know! I mean it’s nice to have ebooks for convenience sake, but after awhile I just miss physical books.
That’s cool! I wish I could go book shopping more. 😀 I know! The cover is amazing!
      Welcome. 😀

  2. I love the Help! So good, and a good movie too (I am usually disappointed by the movie if I’ve read the book, but I liked both in this case!)

I recently bought the Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker. I don’t know anything about it, so I’ll have to let you know if it’s good!
