Today I have the great pleasure of doing a book spotlight for a fellow writer and blogger. Mirriam Neal is a writer that I greatly respect and admire. Back in 2013 she published her book Monster, and I (and many others) have been anxiously awaiting the day when she would release a second book. Well folks, that day is here.
Synopsis: Ginger has lived in seclusion, with only her aunt Malgarel and her blue cat, Halcyon, to keep her company. Her sheltered, idyllic life is turned upside-down when her home is attacked by messengers from the world of fae. Accompanied by Halcyon (who may or may not be more than just a cat), an irascible wysling named Azrael, and a loyal fire elemental named Salazar, Ginger ventures into the world of fae to bring a ruthless Queen to justice.
About the Author:
Mirriam Neal is a twenty-two-year-old Northwestern hipster living in Atlanta. She writes hard-to-describe books in hard-to-describe genres, and illustrates things whenever she finds the time. She aspires to live as faithfully and creatively as she can and she hopes you do, too.
Like I said earlier I have read her first book Monster. It’s a sci-fi book set in the future about a scientist trying to find a cure for a deadly plague. I originally gave the book five stars. The story is deep and entertaining, dealing with human test subjects and of course love. The characters are also well written, alive and entertaining. Mirriam Neal is gifted writer and I have no doubt that Paper Crowns will be a great story.
I have yet to read Paper Crowns but I’m super excited to do so at some point this year. I will be reviewing it on my blog of course. Meanwhile this post is a part of a huge blog tour! Check out this blog for more information, reviews and even a giveaway! Also be sure to check out Mirriam Neal’s blog.
Thanks for reading!
