June Wrap-Up

Sorry guys that this is so late! I’ve had a busy few days.  The 2nd was Grant’s birthday and then Monday was of course the 4th of July.  But now I’m back!

I’m trying to figure out a way to make these posts more interesting, so if anyone of have any ideas I’d love to hear them. Also I’d love to hear how last month was for you. If you’ve done a wrap-up blog post be sure to leave a link in the comments so I can read and comment. 🙂

Reading: I’ve been managing to keep up with this goal!  In my original post I made this reading goal for the entire summer, which has been easier to accomplish.  Right now my NetGalley feedback ratio is at 73%. And I’m exactly on track for reading 200 books.

Writing: Writing for June was a bit slow but I did accomplish some things. I finished a short story collection as well as added poems to A Mad Woman’s Voice. I also sent in some poetry to a magazine!  I didn’t publish anything though, so I didn’t make my goal for June.

Blogging: I did okay on this goal last month.  I only had a few times when I wasn’t posting every or every other day. So congrats to me. I made my easiest goal. 😉

Life: Interning for Patchwork Press has been really good! I’m working on reading and helping with character development on one of their upcoming books.  You all should check out what they’ve published in the past.

As always thanks for reading! 🙂

      1. Haha, yep. 🙂 I’ve mostly just been writing little things and not focusing much on any big projects. *shrug* I wish I was, but I’ll take a bit of random writing over nothing. 😉
