July Wrap-Up

I wrote this post and decided it was a bit boring so I spiced things up with gifs. You can all applaud me on how amazingly techy I am. 😉 Just kidding.

July kind of ran away from me.

Now its August 2nd and I’m realizing I need to write a wrap-up for last month.  Looking back at my post in the beginning of last month I realized I only had two goals. So I didn’t do as terrible as I thought.

200

My goal for reading was to tackle my NetGalley books and to stay on track with my 200 book goal for the year.  Sadly I did very little reading this month and only one of those was from my NetGalley requests. On top of that I’m now 11 books behind on my reading goal.

Looking back at my Goodreads list I realize I read 4 books total this month. 😦  All of which I’ve reviewed on here, save one. Which I’m super excited to review tomorrow.

The good news is I made half of my writing goal.  I did win Camp NaNoWriMo! With 12k extra.  I didn’t finish the novel, but I came to about…eh I think it’s 1/3 of the way done.  And I am so close to finishing A Mad Woman’s Voice.  I think 3 more poems should finish up the first (ish) draft. 🙂

That’s all for me. How did you do last month?

  1. Oh congrats on finishing NaNo!! I’m busy plotting like A DOZEN books at once by this point and it’s getting a little ridiculous.😂 But fun. And that’s what matters right?! heheh. Ohhh, and good luck tackling your Netgalley reads! I’m actually trying to do that in August because I want to request some more buuut, well, GOTTA READ WHAT I HAVE. I’m reading a magical baking book right now and quite excited. Because cake, obviously. 😉

    • Thanks! Woah that’s a lot of books. Best of luck on that! True true, fun is what counts lol. Yeah thanks! Ooh that sounds like a fantastic book. Can’t wait to read your review of it. 🙂
