September Reading Wrap-Up

Here we are, the end of another month which means it’s time to write a wrap-up post! September’s total was 15 books, so better than last month but still not as good as I usually read. I also read a lot of books that I didn’t like. I’m really hoping to read more 4-5 star books this month!

1 Star: 5 books. I’ve reviewed all of these now, Nemesis and Cin were for NetGalley, One Dark Throne was for Edelweiss.  The other two were from my 2012 TBR.

2 Stars: 3 books. These books were alright, I’ve reviewed both Under the Never Sky and Eight Grade Bites. The third book I’m not planning on reviewing as it is nonfiction. But I will say that I mostly didn’t like the writing style and decided to stop reading it because of that.

3 stars: 3 books. These were interesting books, but ones that had a few things I didn’t like. My review for Three Dark Crowns can be found here. Prince of Foxes will be reviewed soon, I can say though that I enjoyed the writing style a lot! The third book is again nonfiction and so I probably wont be reviewing it.

4 Stars: 2 books. Ugh I wish I had read more 4-5 star books this month! But as it is these two have my full recommendation. Poison Study is a fantastic book. Celebrating the Seasons of Life is a nonfiction book, but it looks into the pagan roots for holidays and it was really interesting.

5 Stars: 2 books. Tomorrow I will be reviewing A Storm of Swords, it was so good! And the ending had me needing the next book asap.  The Hate U Give I reviewed earlier this month, and it was amazing, I cried.

So there you have it! What books did you read this month? Are you going to make your yearly reading goal?

  1. Wow, you read so many books each month! I usually read about 7 – 10 per month, but I catch up during the holidays haha. I am so glad to hear you enjoyed The Hate U Give — wasn’t it just amazing? I don’t think I’ve heard of Poison Study so I shall check it out. 🙂

    • Thanks for saying that, I’ve been sort of down in the dumps about how few books I read this month, but I should really just give myself more room to breathe.
It was so amazing! Gosh that book was so well written, the characters were so great. I cried so many times. 😀
      Hope you like Poison Study!
