Once a year (sometimes we’re luck to go twice) Grant and I go to the Sylvia Beach Hotel, which is in Newport Oregon. It’s a simply wonderful hotel that’s right on the beach. As writers and book lovers it’s prefect for us because each room is themed after a different author. Today I just wanted to share with you all some of the pictures of I took of our time there. I didn’t get very many this time because Grant got sick almost as soon as we arrived. But still I hope you all enjoy. 🙂
The drive up to Newport was really beautiful!
The first night we stayed in the Oscar Wilde room. I was able to read some of his works and also read about the trials that happened towards the end of his life.
The second and last night we were there we stayed in the Shakespeare room. It had a lovely bed and so many cool nicknacks around. We loved this room a lot.
