Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog event hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s post is a freebie for Valentine’s Day, and first I thought I would do a post about my favorite LGBTQA+ couples. But then I realized that I’ve done something similar before so instead I’m just going to do a post with queer characters that I can’t wait to ship. š Hopefully you enjoy.
1. Ramona Blue by Julie Murphy.
I’m all about bisexual books! In case you didn’t know that. š I actually have this book sitting on my table, waiting for me to read it. But alas other books have had due dates before this one, so it has not yet been time to read it.
2.Ā Carol by Patrica Highsmith.
I have seen the movie, I had to see it in theaters when it came out. Sadly I do not yet have a copy of this book, but it is on my list and I am determined to read it this year!
3. Blue Is The Warmest Color by Julie Maroh.Ā
Yes, I do have this book on my TBR. I know this is sometimes looked down on because of the movie with the same name. But actually I’ve heard that they’re different, so I’m hoping this will a good read. Plus I love graphic novels.
4.Ā If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo.
I’ve heard so much about this book, but sadly have yet to read it! This must change. I’d really like to read more books with trans characters so if you have a recommendation let me know in the comments.
5.Ā Autoboyagraphy by Christina Lauren.
Another book that I have on my reading table that I just haven’t been able to read yet. Seriously y’all I have 33 books on this table right now, it’s just taking me a little bit to get through them all. I will conquer.
6. Fan Art by Sarah Tregay.Ā
I love the cover for this book, it just looks like it will be a cute afternoon read and I really wish I had it in my hands now.
7.Ā George by Alex Gino.
This book looks like the cutest thing on the planet! It’s one of those books that I’m really hoping to add to my library someday.
8.Ā Chainbreaker by Tara Sim.
After finishing the first book this last month I am pretty freaking desperate to get the second book. I love, love, loved Danny and Colton!
9.Ā They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera.
I love this title. That is 100% my reason for wanting to read the book. Actually I lie, there are a few more reasons. But the title. It’s just too good.
10.Ā Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst.Ā
I totally forgot I had this book till today! Apparently it’s been hiding on my shelves and now I need to read it as soon as possible.
Have you read any of these books? Which ones have you enjoyed? Don’t forget to leave a link to your TTT post in the comments so I can read it! Thanks.Ā
I recently read Autoboyography and They Both Die at the End and thought they were both great (although the latter is kind of intense as you might be able to predict). If you’re looking for books with trans characters I’d really recommend When the Moon Was Ours by Anna-Marie McLemore! I also hear good things Peter Darling by Austin Chant. š
Good to know! Ooh awesome, I’ll be looking those books up shortly. Thanks!
I’ve heard many good things about George, and Ramona Blue looks really interesting, though I’ve never heard about it before. I definitely should read more LGBTQ books this year as well! š
I hope you enjoy both books! And yay! More people reading queer books is always good. š
I actually haven’t read any of these, I have If I Was Your Girl and Ramona Blue on TBR though. Of Fire and Stars sounds really interesting too!
Nice! Well I hope you’re able to read some of these eventually. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Chainbreaker is so amazing, I hope you enjoy it!

I’m excited to read it! š
š
They Both Die… packed a punch in such a short amount of time! I don’t think Silvera has failed me yet with his books, and I do hope you enjoy it as well. I’ve heard plenty of praise for George too, although I haven’t read it yet, but [hopefully] I’ll get to it one day!
Cheers,

I’m so excited to read it! Thanks for commenting. š
