I was tagged by Nevillegirl in this really fun sounding tag, and I finally have time to do it! Hopefully this post cheers you up. 🙂
What is something that cheers you up when you’re blue? Why?
Lighthearted TV shows. My go to shows are Grace and Frankie and The IT Crowd. The first because it’s so funny and relatable, but they can also have a good message at the end so it doesn’t feel like a waste of time. The second because it’s just so ridiculous and funny.
What objects make you feel cheery?
Tea, cats, a good book, a sweet boozy drink, a cozy blanket, a cute shirt.
What do you do to cheer others up?
Make them food, or cuddle with them, or try to make them laugh. Usually a combination of all three. My go to is always food. 😀
Who cheers you up the most?
The people I love. Friends. Family. Grant. Emily.
What is the most cheerful time of year for you?
Fall! Fall time is when I come alive. The leaves are beautiful. The world is crisp. I can drink hot chocolate without dying, I can cuddle and watch spooky movies. I’m getting happy just thinking about it.
What is something that happened recently that made you feel cheery?
Recently myself, Grant and Emily went out and tried a new pub in town. We got food and drinks to share and then talked for hours, when we got home we did tarot readings and had more drinks and it was just the loveliest time.
What books or movies cheer you up?
Books: Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery, The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzie Lee.
Movies: The Addams Family, Professor Marston and The Wonder Women, Practical Magic.
What is the number one thing that makes you feel cheerful?
Feeling accomplished at the end of the day, like I’ve followed my schedule and took care of things around the house, made dinner and also had time for all my writing. That accomplishment makes me feel so very very cheerful.
Feel free to tag yourself in this!
