WWW Wednesdays is a weekly blog event hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Current Read: What Love Is by Carrie Jenkins & Reign of the Fallen by Sarah Glenn Marsh.

Both of these books are pretty good so far, though to be fair I haven’t got far in either of them.  What Love Is is a philosophy book on love, and I like it because the author is polyamorous.  Reign of the Fallen has been pretty cool so far, but I am still waiting for it to pick up and do something more than world-building.

Finished Read: Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmyn Ward.

Wow. This was quite a book. It took me by surprise that’s for sure! I just finished it yesterday so I won’t have a review up for a couple of months.

Reading Next: Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi.

I am really excited to read this book! I’ve heard a lot of good things about it and hopefully I’ll be able to start it tomorrow.

  1. Man, all these covers are really captivating, def going to be checking these out. And reading a book by someone who is poly sounds insanely interesting.

Children of Blood and Bone is AMAZING. I read it recently and I’m still not over it. It’s probably the most realistic ‘revolution in a SFF world’ book I’ve read in a long time, and super timely because of the police brutality and racism issues, and it’s also cool af how full of POC it is! Looking forward to your thoughts on it!

Oh and my www is here: https://rlprotagonist.wordpress.com/2018/06/27/wwwweds-dinos-poirot-clinton/

    • Awesome! Glad I could recommend some books. 🙂

That’s so good to hear! I can’t wait to read it, I’m seriously trying to read my other books super fast just to get to it. 😀
      Thanks for stopping by!

      • Book recs are some of the best things people can give to each other, for real. I’m also not over how amazing the cover is for Reign of the Fallen yet, I hope the actual writing is as good.

Ahaha I feel that. Also random thing: on the dvd go The Death Cure literally the only preview for it is one for Children of Blood and Bone, which i will never get over. Books in DVD previews! THIS IS THE FUTURE
