Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme that is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s topic is about backlist books. I decided to write about some of the oldest books on my TBR, though to be fair I have a lot of books on that list. Some of them from 2011! Hope you all enjoy this post. 🙂
1. The Bourne Supremacy by Robert Ludlum.
I’ve read the first book in this series, but I still haven’t managed to get to the rest of the series. I have them sitting on my bookshelf.
2. Legacy by Molly Cochran.
I have a lot of books on my TBR, over 3000 actually. So I’m not sure if I’ll ever get to read this book, but maybe someday I will. I like the cover, even if the story sounds cliche.
3. Watersmeet by Ellen Jensen Abbott.
I had completely forgotten about this book until I pulled up my Goodreads TBR. The series looks fascinating.
4. Inside Out Maria V. Snyder.
This is another book I forgot about but now am excited to try and find, I would really like to find it from my library.
5. The Brother Karamozov by Fydor Dostoevesky.
I love Dostoevsky, which is why it’s somewhat surprising that I haven’t read this book. Still I will get to it eventually.
6. The Time Paradox by Eoin Colfer.
I’ve read a lot of this series over the past few years, still I haven’t finished it yet.
7. The Help Katryn Stockett.
I’ve seen this movie and I would love to read the book someday. It won’t always be sitting on my TBR!
8. Speaker For The Dead by Orson Scott Card.
When I first read Ender’s Game I didn’t realize that it was the first of a whole series, eventually I realized that and yet I still haven’t managed to read the rest of it.
9. What’s Left of Me by Kat Zhang.
This cover has always interested me, every time I see it on my TBR I think I should find the book and read it.
10. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin.
I’ve heard a lot about this book over the years, so I’m sure I’ll read it eventually.
I have a lot of books on my TBR, so hopefully I can get to some of these next year. If you have a Top Ten Tuesday post be sure to leave a link in the comments so I can read it!
