Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, and today’s topic is about platonic love in books. This week I only had time to find five examples but I’ve been looking forward to this topic. So I hope you all enjoy reading my post. 🙂
1. Kel and all her friends.
I love all of the friendships that Kel has in this series. Even though she’s at first treated like an outcast, she soon becomes friends with a good group of pages in her year. And best of all there’s not a lot of romance that goes on until later in the series.
2. Regan and Cath.
I actually ship these two a lot, but that’s just me. In the books they have a great friendship, and I love the way it starts and how it grows.
3. Cameron and Cooper.
Like all siblings they have their ups and downs, but I really appreciate how the twins support each other.
4. Moxie and the girls at her school.
I like seeing all of the female friendships develop in this book. Girl power and friendships are the best.
5. Tess and Pathka.
This is a totally unique fantasy book, and it comes with a really great friendship.
Don’t forget to leave a link to your Top Ten Tuesday! I’d love to find more books with great friendships.
I loved the Tamora Pierce stories when I was at school. Great to see them on your list!
I just got into her books recently! They’re so fun.
