Weekend Cooking is a blog meme created and hosted by Beth Fish Reads. And since it’s December I decided I would do a post about a few holiday/fall time recipes that I’m hoping to try out eventually. Hope you enjoy!
1. Smoky Chipotle Pumpkin Hummus.
I am a huge fan of hummus and this seems like such a fun fall twist on the recipe. I also love all things pumpkin flavored. I’m hoping to make this sometime before the end of the month, I’ll let you all know how it goes!
2. Mini Marijuana Pumpkin Pies.
I meant to make this recipe for Thanksgiving, but ended up making so much other food that I didn’t have time. Still I have some cans of pumpkin leftover and so I’d still think it would be fun to try this out.
3. Eggnog Gingerbread Tiramisu.
Talk about delicious! Holiday season or not this recipe sound amazing and I need to make it as soon as possible!
Yule is coming up! And I have a whole list of foods that I want to cook for the holiday, but this is definitely one that I have to do first. I love pies so this one sounds perfect for me.
5. Classic Yule Log.
This looks entirely too sweet and so I must make it and eat it. 😀 More seriously however this is another festive recipe I’m hoping to make on Yule for my family. I’m a kitchen witch through and through and the best part of holidays is food.
What are your favorite festive recipes? Let me know in the comments!
Some great choices here! Can’t make the weed one in my state. Sigh. The winter solstice pie looks great.
Aww that’s too bad! I’m pretty thankful to live in Oregon! 😀
And yes, I can’t wait to make the solstice pie.
