Top Ten Tuesday – Winter TBR – Or The Last Books of The Year

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s post is about my winter TBR, or all the books I hope to finish before the end of the year. Mostly I’m working on giving back books to my library and I also need to finish up some NetGalley ARCS.

1. Girls Burn Brighter by Shobha Rao.

This is the next book that I need to return to my library so I’m hoping to read it in the next couple of days. I meant to read it earlier in the month, but it just kept getting pushed back.

2. Mask of Shadows & Ruin of Stars by Linsey Miller.

I got Ruin of Stars from NetGalley before realizing it was the second in a series, so now i have to read both books! 😛 But it should be fun.

3. For Your Own Good by Alice Miller.

Another library book. This book was recommended in another parenting book that I read in the last few months, I’m excited to dive into it this winter.

4. Garrison Girl by Rachel Aaron.

This story sounded interesting, so despite knowing nothing about Attack on Titan I’ll be trying to read this later in the month.

5. A Danger to Herself and Others by Alyssa Sheinmel.

Another ARC here, but this book sounds like it will be super interesting and dark.

6. Farm To Table by Andrew Coppolino.

Yay! Another cookbook. As a gardener and a cook I figured this book would be right up my alley.

7. The Curses by Laure Eve

I really liked the first book in this series so I did quite the happy dance when I got this ARC. I can’t wait to finally read it.

8. Sugar Spells by Lola Dodge

Also really loved this series’ first book! Ugh! I’m saving this one for Christmas so it can kind of be a gift to myself. 😀

9. The Dead Queens Club by Hannah Capin.

This book sounded fun when I first requested it, at the moment I can’t really remember what it’s about but the cover is great.

10. The Drum That Beats Within Us by Mike Bond.

I haven’t read much poetry in the last few months, which is why I requested this book. Can’t wait to see what it’s all about.

What are you hoping to read before the end of 2018? Any books that you’re saving for Christmas/the winter holidays? Don’t forget to share a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post with me!
