2018 Writing Wrap Up

All of my writing updates are posted first on Patreon, if you would like to receive email updates from yours truly as well as snippets, poems, and advanced copies of my books you can support me by following this link. Also at the time of publishing this post I had not yet published by third poetry collection Maybe (Not) Her. It can now be fond on Amazon and Payhip

At the beginning of the year I made just a few goals for my writing, so today I wanted to go over them. Hope you all enjoy!

1. Have 5 poems published by Literary Magazines.

In total I had poems published with 11 magazines, I’ve also had a poem published in a collection, three photographs and a flash fiction story published as well. I also hope to have one last publication by the end of this month.

2. Publish a third poetry collection.

This technically hasn’t been accomplished yet, but it will in just a few weeks! December 24th is the date for Maybe (Not) Her’s publication. Though I will be sending out copies to you all much sooner than that.

3. Get either a freelance editing job, or be hired by a publishing company.

As hard I worked on this goal, it didn’t quite happen.  Though I did get a transcription job, and I have been working as a regular submitter for a magazine. So this goal will turn over to the next year, and who knows maybe it will happen!

4. Grow my Patreon supporters to 8 total.

Although there is still technically time left, I doubt this goal will go anywhere. For awhile I had a few more supporters, making a total of 5, but lately the number has dwindled. Again though, this goal will be something I work on next year and I’m very hopeful for 2019.

5. Continue to post on my blog at least 4 times a week.

This was my easiest goal, I’ve always loved my personal blog and for most of this year posted every day. I didn’t post quite as often on this blog, but that’s something I hope to work on next year.
