Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s topic is about Spring TBRs. Who else is freaking excited for spring?! I can’t wait to get started on my garden, read in the sun and soak up all this nice weather we’re having in Oregon. You might recognize some of these books from my WWW Wednesdays posts, that’s because I’ve been reading suuuuppppeeeerrr slowly these days. I’ve recently become addicted to crocheting and crafting. But my plan is to finish all of these books by the end of Spring.
1. Terrier by Tamora Pierce.
This book is one that will probably take me the longest to finish as it’s one I’m listening to with my girlfriend. We take forever on audiobooks. 😀
2. The Curses by Laure Eve.
This book is also probably going to take me forever to finish. As much as I love getting ARCs from NetGalley, I hate reading books on the kindle app. It hurts my eyes and I just have such a hard time concentrating on one thing on my phone.
3. Carrie by Stephen King.
I grabbed this book on a whim from my library the other day. I’ve been meaning to read more horror and it seemed fitting to start with a King book.
4. Just Kids (Illustrated Version) by Patti Smith.
I freaking love the first edition of this book, I love how Patti Smith writes. This book always inspires me. So I knew I had to grab this new illustrated version from my library.
5. Emma by Jane Austen.
Back…oh I don’t probably a year or so ago I had a grand idea of re-reading all my books in my personal library. And I didn’t get very far at all. But I would like to finish this book eventually!
6. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
I don’t know why but this book struck me as a spring read, and so I picked it up today from my library.
7. Jack of Hearts (And Other Parts) by L.C. Rosen.
I got a copy of this book today as well! It looks like such a fun read! Queer and sex positive!
8. Darius The Great Is Not Okay by Adib Khorram.
I got all the queer reads today from my library because they made me happy. This book is one of those.
9. The Heart Forger by Rin Chupeco.
I seriously need to read this book already!!
10. She Has Her Mother’s Laugh by Carl Zimmer.
I’ve been trying to read at least one non-fiction book a month, and this is my chosen read for March.
What are you reading this month? Have you added any new books to your TBR? Don’t forget to leave a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post!
Carrie is a chilling story. I loved it and hope you will, too.
My Top Ten Tuesday post.
I just finished it and wow! It was quite the story, chilling is a good word for it.
I need finish To All the Boys I Loved Before series, I have book 3 to get through and I still haven’t watched the Netflix show. Great list though, here’s My Top Ten Tuesday
I haven’t watched the show either! I was hoping to read the book first. 😀
Oh man, I hope you will love Carrie. It’s one of my favorite King books.
It was definitely very good! One of my favorites so far, even though it was at times hard for me to read.
I’m excited for spring! I’m so sick of snow. I hope you enjoy all these!
Me too! Thankfully Oregon doesn’t get too much snow, but still I’m done with the cold! 😀
