Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today is a freebie topic! So I just decided to go with the easiest thing and tell you all what I hope/plan to read next month. Also just FIY next month is my birthday, so check in around the beginning of the month for a book giveaway. Hope you enjoy!
1. To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf
I got this book on audio from my library, I have already started it but I hope to finish it next month. I got this book thinking it was another of Woolf’s but apparently I was confused. Still it’s been interesting so far!
2. The Missing of Clairdelune by Christelle Dabos
I got this as an ARC from NetGalley, and I’ve been making my way though it whenever I get an odd minute. It’s a little confusing, very unique and I’m still not sure what to make of it!
3. Alanna: The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce
I hope that my girlfriend and I will finally finish listening to this book next month. Fingers crossed. We get distracted easily.
4. Why Evolution is True by Jerry A. Coyne
I’ve been meaning to read a book on evolution for awhile now and picked this book up at random from my library. So far I’m finding it hard to follow because math and science really aren’t my thing. I need a really dumbed down version of this book.
5. Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes
I read this book a couple years back, but the book was large and daunting. I still enjoyed it but I’m going to give it another try, this time on audio.
6. How To Love A Woman by Clarissa Pinkola Estes
Because I had read another book by Estes I knew I liked her writing style, so when I was looking for her books at my library this one also caught my eye.
7. The Art of Fermentation by Sandor Ellix Katz
I’m trying to get back into fermenting food and eating healthy, so I figured I’d read more about it!
8. What Makes Girls Sick And Tired by Lucile De Peslouan & Genevieve Darling
Like always I have lots of ARCS to catch up on, this is one that I’m particularly excited about!
9. Some Girls Bind by Rory James
I’ve not read many books with genderqueer characters, so I’m beyond excited to get to this ARC.
10. To Best The Boys by Mary Weber
I admit this was a cover grab, I couldn’t resist. I hope the book lives up to it’s beauty!
What are you reading next month? Don’t forget to share your Top Ten Tuesday post with me! Have a great week.
