Top Ten Tuesday – Books I Need To Own

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s topic is about books that I want to add to my personal library. This was a hard topic for me because there are SO MANY books I want to own, nay need to own. 😉 So basically I just went through my read list on Goodreads and found some of my favorite five star books. Hope you enjoy!

1. Little Leaders: Bold Women in Black History by Vashti Harrison

I read this book just this month, so you’ll be seeing a review for it soon. But it was an awesome collection of women, some I recognized and some that sadly didn’t. I would love to own this book someday for my kiddos.

2. Growing Up In A Korean Kitchen by Hi Soo Shin Hepinstall

I love love loved this book, also a recent read with a review hopefully coming soon. I loved all the different recipes in here, all the things I learned about Korea, and I can’t wait to be able to make some of the food!

3. The Art of Fermentation by Sandor Ellix Katz

After reading this book I went on a huge fermentation kick, and although I was able to take some pictures of the recipes I knew I wanted the most. I just need to own this book so I can always have it on hand.

4. Why Evolution Is True by Jerry A. Coyne

I learned so much from this book, it seems like something I need to have in my library.

5. The Big Book of Kombucha by Hannah Crum & Alex La Gory

I’ve started up a new batch of kombucha which makes me want this book even more!

6. The Telling by Ursula K. Le Guin

I just wrote a review for this book so you know why I loved it. Of course I want all of the Hainish series in my library, but this book will probably one of the first I get.

7. The Word for World is Forest by Ursula K. Le Guin

Same goes for this one!

8. Just Kids by Patti Smith

This is the edition with the added photography so I would love to replace my older copy with it.

9. Jack of Hearts (And Other Parts) by L. C. Rosen

Since I don’t currently have kids, it will be a long while before they can read YA. 😀 But still I loved this book and I would reread it as well as have it for future kiddlets.

10. The Ocean At The End Of The Lane by Neil Gaiman

For being such a big fan of Gaiman, I have surprisingly few of his books and I really should rectify that.

What are some books that you need to own? Don’t forget to share you Top Ten Tuesday post with me!
