Top Ten Tuesday – Fall 2019 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s topic is actually about snacks that one eats when you read, which not only didn’t interest me at all. But also I don’t really snack a lot when I’m reading. I don’t really have a set “now I’m reading time”, I have more of a “if there’s a spare minute at all I’m reading”.  Anywho. So I decided to go with next week’s topic of Fall TBR! I looked back at my summer TBR and am happy to say I finished all but two books on that list, so hopefully I do just as well this season.

1. The Body Keeps The Score by Bessel Van Der Kolk

This is a book that I’m reading for the magazine I review for and I’m so excited to get into it.  I love books on healing!

2. Dracul by Dacre Stoker & J. D. Barker

Since the month of Halloween is coming up I figured I’d start reading more horror this fall, and this book is the first on my list.

3. The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin

I know, I know. I still haven’t read this book yet. But it’s the last one in the Hainish series and I’m sad and I don’t want it to finish. 😦

4. Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes

I’ve actually read this book before, but I want to listen to it on audio and I’m hoping that I get more out of it that way.

5. Parenting Without Border by Christine Gross-Loh

Yes, more parenting books. You’ll be seeing a lot of these for the rest of the year probably.

6.On The Come Up by Angie Thomas

I’ve finally got a copy of this!!! I’m so happy I have a great library with lots of YA books.

7. The Manic Pixie Dream Boy Improvement Project by Lenore Appelhans

This is one the ARC’s I’m hoping to read this fall.

8. Senlin Ascends by Josiah Bancroft

I just received notice that my request for this went through! Hopefully I can go to my library soon and pick it up.

9. Story of O by Pauline Reage

Right now I’ve been listening to the Sex Stories podcast a lot, and this book was talked about just briefly in an episode.

10. The Bob’s Burgers Burger Book by Loren Bouchard

I’m pretty excited about all the books on this list, but this one. I am SO FREAKING excited about this one. I can’t wait to get it.

What are you reading this fall? Don’t forget to share your Top Ten Tuesday post with me!
