Top Ten Tuesday – 10 Best YA Covers From 2019

TTT-NEW (1)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s topic is about favorite or best book covers. I decided to go with 10 of my favorite YA book covers. Some of these are books that I’ve read, some of them I still need to read. Anyway, here it goes. Hope you all enjoy!

1. Descendant of The Crane by Joan He

I love the color scheme for this book, with the small bits of red that stand out and the cream of the flowers.

2. Wicked Saints by Emily A. Duncan

I got this book from Owlcrate, which had their exclusive cover and I just don’t like it quite as much as this one. But then again blue is pretty much my favorite color (it’s a tie between blue and yellow).

3. Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte

While I’m hesitant about reading this because it sound a LOT like another series currently being published, I do really like the color and the idea behind the cover. The crowns are very pretty.

4. The Beautiful by Renee Ahdieh

This cover is so simple but so striking and I love the title font.

5. Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levenseller

I love this cover because it remind me both of the Redwall series and the God of War video game series.

6. We Set The Dark on Fire by Tehlor Kay Mejia

Again, the colors! So cool, and yes also again the font.

7. The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman

I like the way the tree is all you can look at first, and then once you look deeper you see the darker trees behind, the skull and the sword and the flag (or something???). I feel like I could play I Spy with it. 😀

8. Girls With Sharp Sticks by Suzanne Young

This cover is pretty simple but it still gives off some creepy vibes and I adore that.

9. The Legends of Eve

I love all of the green in this cover! At first I thought it was a dragon eye but then I realized it was humanoid.

10. The Beholder by Anna Bright

This is the only book on this list that I’ve actually read and sadly the book was a massive disappointment, but I still love the cover.
