Weekend Cooking – Going Through A Cooking Dryspell?

Enjoy your month, Virgo friends!

Weekend Cooking is a weekend blog meme hosted by Beth Fish Reads.

I’m just going to do a short post today because I don’t actually have a meal or food or a cookbook to talk about.  I’m starting week 8 of my school term and it’s definitely been a term that took a lot out of me and recently I’ve been noticing that my inspiration for cooking as been depleted.  I’m definitely in a cooking rut.  So I guess today I just have a few questions for anyone who reads this.

What do you like to cook when you feel uninspired? What helps you get excited about food again? What are you go to favorite recipes?

I would love any and all recipes, I think trying something new or something old that I forgot would help get out of this dryspell.

  1. I usually go for easy and comforting and simple: soups, beans and rice, simple grilled meats/fish, roasted veggies on rice or noodles.
