Goodreads Synopsis: Josie Schuller is a picture-perfect homemaker, wife, and mother—but she’s also a ruthless, efficient killer for hire! A brand-new original comedy series that combines the wholesome imagery of early 1960s domestic bliss with a tightening web of murder, paranoia, and cold-blooded survival.
* New original series by Joëlle Jones!
* Dark comedy, gritty action, and killer laughs!
I saw this comic at one of my local libraries and was intrigued. Who doesn’t love a good assassin story?
Overall I found Lady Killer to be a bit of a disappointment. While the art is very well done and the colors are beautiful, the story lacks originality. Josie has next to no character, it was hard for me to tell what drove her to be in the life that she had chosen. We never get to see what she wants because the story is so caught up with the adventure part of Josie trying not to die. There was just a general lack of depth throughout.
So I doubt that I would continue the series, there was just nothing in it to keep me interested. And I gave this comic 3 stars.
