Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s, or rather yesterday’s topic sounded super fun and I started on it right away. Unfortunatly life happened and I had to go grocrey shopping so I had to put off this post. But now here it is, not quite ten authors I hope write more books! Hope you enjoy.
1. Erin Morgenstern
With one book I adored and one I couldn’t finish, Erin Morgenstern is one author I’ve got my eye on. I know she just published The Starless Sea last year but I was so disappointed by it and I really really want her to write a third book.
2. Alison Bechdel
I’ve read both her memoirs and some of her Dykes to Watch out For and I really enjoy her writing style and comic style. I would love to see another book by her published soon!
3. Rivers Solomon
I was able to read The Deep not too long ago, and I still need to read An Unkindness of Ghosts but I’m excited to do so later this year (hopefully) and I would love to see Solomon put out more books into the world.
4. Meghan Maclean Weir
This book punched me in the feels so hard, it’s just such a good book and I would love to see Weir tackle other similar topics.
5. Nnedi Okorafor
I read and really enjoyed the Binit trilogy last year, and I think it would be really cool to read more books from this same world.
6. Lola Dodge
Dodge has actually written quite a few books apparently, unfortuantly this was the only series that looked any good. Maybe the longer she writes the better her work will be? I don’t know but I’m curious.
7. Aprilynne Pike
Again this author has quite a few books out there, but none of them look like books that I would read. Still, I really enjoyed this series and think I would enjoy future books by Pike.
8. Caighlan Smith
Smith has other books that I’ve been meaning to check out, but her last was published in 2018. I would definitely be excited if I heard she was coming out with another book.
Which authors are you hoping publish more books? Don’t forget to share you Top Ten Tuesday post with me. I’m excited to read them all!
I still need to read The Book Of Essie. I saw a ton of great reviews when it first came out.
Oh my gosh yes! Hope your’re able to read it soon. 🙂
I’ve wanted to read Alison Bechdel’s stuff so much! And see Fun House on Broadway! She’s such a force and I’ve definitely seen her mark everywhere I go in the book world!
Hope you’re able to read her work soon!
