July Reading Wrap-Up

Reading Wrap Up (5).jpg

Since I’ve been late with this post the last couple of times I’ve decided to write it early. July has seen me fall even further behind in my reading goal of 300 books, though the good news is I’m not letting this bother me. I keep considering changing the goal but then what would be the point? I’m going to continue reading as I am. Total reads for the month was 7 books. The cool thing is I didn’t have any bad reads! Hope you enjoy.

3 Star Reads:

I mostly decided to read The Odyssey in order to read James Joyce’s retelling. The book was longer than I had anticipated with some annoying characters that made it hard to muddle through, but muddle I did!   Dinners and Nighmares was mentioned in Natalie Goldberg’s Writing Down the Bones so I decided to give it a try.

4 Stars:

Ahhh what a delightful collection of books. I highly recommend these and can’t wait to review them for you all.

5 Stars:

And of course, last but not least. It had been years since I read this book but it was and I think always will be a favorite of mine. Nothing will make you love reading and literature more than Nafasi’s book.
